My first time to Bali

It has been a while since my last post… Was back to Germany for some quality time with family and friends over Christmas and NYE. I wasn’t flying out to Bali directly but took a little stop in HK and SG.

Bali – came here to visit my friend Gerrit & finally learn some surfing. I have to say I like Bali. Great food and cool people to hang out with. Chose to stay in Canggu area as its not as crowded like Kuta & Seminyak. Little sightseeing and driving around with scooter to Uluwatu.

Have also been invited to Oppy, who Inga hooked we up with. He’s a cool guy and we had a blast night with so much great food in his Villa Sejati Canggu. Did some great salmon skewer BBQ together and his wife cooked some awesome Balinese food.

But also went out for surfing with Hery my cool surf instructor from Bali Sunset Surf. No pics yet from my surf. Let’s see if I get some done soon – if they are worth showing!
