Spent some days in Hoi An to meet my friends Anh and Julie, who were travelling from North to South so we agreed to meet half way – which we did!
- Dinner Time
- Night Market Snack Stall
- Skewers Time with Friends
Decided to stay in Golden Lantern Homestay, a very lovely family is running it, chilled place, bit outside of Hoi An downtown, but thats okay. Met lot of cool people there and even cooked some proper Vietnamese food (Spring Rolls, Pho, Vietnamese Pancakes, Beef Skewers & Fish) with Trang Nguyen there, recipes will be online soon. Have a look at the pictures below.
- Trang – What a Lovely Chef
- Full Table with Food
- Family Dinner Time
The other day I rented a scooter and explored the northern part of Hoi An and the beaches. Relaxed area – less people and nice breeze there. Apparently the city is very popular amongst Chinese and Koreans and they all book the same tour – was funny see them all on the bike rikshas.
- Nature & Lighthouse
- Beach & Boat
- Thore’s new Hairstyle
- Top Gear
- Local Food Market
- Japanese Bridge
- Cows in front of Cemetery
- Beach and Boat
Next stop on my tour is Da Nang to meet Linh, Kilian & Ivo.
You are looking really recovered and happy!!! That’s great 🙂
Happy yes – recovered? It’s just a charming picture I guess. Travelling is tiring and beer is just so cheap here 😉
May be a picture of the map from the twons would be great as well. Perfectly with red dots of the sightseeing as well. That would help for our imagination of where we can find something or only to know where your route was going 🙂
Fair remark – let me think about it…
