Had this during my sightseeing tour in Hue.
Was very impressed by the flavours and decided to put the recipe & video up here.
- Mix minced pork, garlic, shallots, sugar, pepper and fish sauce until well combined
- Keep mix for 1 hour or over night in fridge for marinating process
- Roll 2 tbs of the mix into a sausage shape around each lemongrass or chop stick and brush with some oil
- BBQ the Nem Lui skewers for about 5 minutes from all sides until nicely browned
- Wrap it all up like in the video and enjoy with peanut sauce
- 400g minced pork
- 3 finely diced garlic cloves
- 1 finely chopped onion
- freshly ground pepper
- salt
- peanut sauce
- 1/2 tbs sugar
- 1 tbs fish sauce
- 2 tbs cooking oil
- rice paper
- cucumber, salad
- chopped green papaya and carrots
- fresh herbs (coriander, basil)
Serves 2-3 person
