Another great day in the nature!

Although the weather didn’t look that promising in the morning I took off 10km north from Da Lat to Lang Biang Peak. By scooter approx. 20 minutes. I did some research and Christians post on Summitpost helped me with the preparation. You can park the scooter outside and make yourself up to the peak, keep walking right from the entrance. In the meantime the second entrance gate is been abandoned and they charge 20.000VND at the main gate (JFYI).

It took me about 2 hours to reach the peak, making 800m ascent so it’s not an easy hike. Check the pictures, pretty nice nature. At the start it reminded me of Saechsische Schweiz / Saxon Switzerland in Germany. Met some other hiking people – a group of Vietnamese Students was up there and they happily shared their lunch with me and later sang songs and played the guitar.

After I went down and half way I only walked 10km so I decided to take the concrete road up to the other mountain. During those 2 km / 25 minutes nearly 20 jeeps passed by me. More cars then hiker on my way. Hehe – most of the folks are lazy and let them drive up the mountain. Up there a school group performed some dance/singing competition. They had lots of fun and I enjoyed watching them.
